We do not sell visas. We help you prepare your visa application and support you until it is submitted. The cost of applying with The Visa Services has three parts: the consulate fee, visa centre charges where they apply, and our service fee. The exact amount depends on your visa, and the scope and total are set out in the service agreement we sign with you.
Updated 30 October 2026
Two parts are set by outside bodies, and one is our fee for the work we do on your application.
1
The official government charge for considering your application. It is set by the destination country and can change without notice. For some visas, such as the US and UK, we pay it on your behalf and include it in your service agreement total. For Schengen visas, you pay it yourself at the visa centre when you apply. Your case manager will tell you the current amount.
2
Where a consulate collects applications through a centre such as VFS Global or BLS International, the centre adds its own service charge. For Schengen visas, we pay this charge on your behalf. For other visas, your case manager will tell you whether it is included. See the current visa fees and visa centre charges from the UAE.
3
Our charge for handling your visa application, including document preparation and appointment booking. It carries 5% VAT, and the total is stated in the service agreement you sign. See what it pays for.
Our fee depends on the service you choose, so a single figure would be misleading. The main factors are:
Our fee covers the work of professional case managers who handle your application from the first conversation until it is complete. The exact scope depends on the service you choose and is written into your service agreement. A typical agreement covers:
An individual case manager is assigned to your application. Each of our specialists has handled hundreds of visa applications, and some previously worked at visa centres and embassies. With our team’s help, clients have received more than 30,000 visas.
We work to secure your visa appointment sooner, within the timeframe set in your service agreement.
We plan how to present your case based on your profile, your destination and the purpose of your trip. If the embassy requires an interview, we prepare you for it.
We prepare the full set of documents for your type of visa and check it against official rules and embassy checklists.
Where your application needs them, we arrange your itinerary and bookings.
You can reach your team with questions from your first enquiry through to your embassy appointment, and we keep you informed as your case moves forward.
We also take any other steps we consider necessary to process your application properly.
Whether you receive a refund, and how much, depends on the product you bought and the stage your case has reached when you ask. Work that has already been done is not refundable. The full conditions are set out in your service agreement, which prevails over this summary.
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| We can’t deliver the agreed service, for example we can’t secure an appointment within the agreed timeframe | A refund of the service fee is available under the terms of your service agreement. Consular fees and other non-refundable costs are not included. |
| You cancel before an appointment is booked, for any reason, including a change of plans | A partial refund may be available, after operational and administrative fees are deducted. |
| You cancel after an appointment is booked | No refund, whatever the reason for cancelling. |
| The embassy or consulate refuses the visa | No refund. The decision belongs to the consulate, and our work on the case has been completed. |
| You miss your appointment | No refund. A rescheduling fee applies if you want a new appointment. |
| Force majeure, including embassy closures, suspended appointments, pandemics and government restrictions | No refund or compensation. If this happens before an appointment is booked, we agree the next steps with you individually or resume work once the restrictions are lifted. |
Why a refusal doesn’t lead to a refund. We prepare your application and check it against the official requirements, but the decision is made by the embassy or consulate alone. No agency can promise an approval.
Government fees and payments to third parties, including insurance, translation and legalisation, are non-refundable.
Urgent cases carry a higher risk because of the short timeframe. If you choose to go ahead with an urgent appointment that we can’t guarantee, you accept that risk and waive any claim for reimbursement. Your service agreement will state this.
Where a refund is due, we need 7 to 21 business days to initiate and complete it.
Your service agreement is signed with The Visa Services FZCO, a licensed company based in Dubai. We are a private visa service agency. We are not a government authority, embassy, consulate or visa application centre, and we are not affiliated with VFS Global, BLS International or any government body. We do not issue visas and we cannot influence any consular decision.

Tell us your destination and travel dates, and we will explain the full cost.
The cost depends on the destination, visa type, urgency and number of applicants. It is made up of the consulate fee, any visa centre charges and our service fee plus 5% VAT. We give you a quote for your case, and the total is stated in your service agreement.
It covers your case manager and the team behind your case, faster appointment booking, your application strategy and interview preparation, your document package, your itinerary and bookings where needed, and support at every stage.
No. A visa refusal does not lead to a refund, because the decision is made by the embassy or consulate and not by The Visa Services.
It depends on the stage of your case. If you cancel before an appointment is booked, for any reason, including a change of plans, a partial refund may be available after operational and administrative fees are deducted. Once an appointment is booked, cancellations are not refunded, whatever the reason.
If we can’t deliver the agreed service, a refund of the service fee is available under the terms of your service agreement. Consular fees and other non-refundable costs are not included.
No. Both are separate from our service fee, and who pays them depends on the visa. For US and UK visas, we pay the visa fee on your behalf. For Schengen visas, we pay the visa centre charge, and you pay the visa fee at the centre. See our visa fees guide for current amounts.
